A&M-Texarkana to host seminar on Bowie County 4-H Grows and Master and Junior Master Gardener programs

TEXARKANA, Texas – Texas A&M University-Texarkana Extended Education and Community Development will host a seminar on the Bowie County 4-H Grows and Master and Junior Master Gardener programs on Thursday, April 6, from 6-8 p.m. in Eagle Hall in the University Center on the A&M-Texarkana campus, 7101 University Ave., Texarkana, Texas.

 The program is free and open to the public.

 County Extension Agent Cherrie Curtis with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will share information on Bowie County 4-H and youth development programs and leadership opportunities for youths and adults. She also will discuss the master and junior master gardener programs.

The seminar is part of a new Lifestyle Series presented by A&M-Texarkana Extended Education and Community Development.

“The Lifestyle Series came about in response to questions about healthy living, wellness and targeted interests,” said Shelley Caraway, executive director of Extended Education and Community Development. “Lifestyle seminars and courses are for those seeking to get the most out of life.”
