Harvest Regional Food Bank Announces T-Shirt Design Contest
Hunger Action Month is the entire month of September. It was created to motivate communities across the country to focus attention on the persistent problem of hunger. Orange is the national color of hunger relief. Harvest Regional Food Bank is inviting the public to get involved now in the fight against hunger.
Participants may create a design that represents what Hunger Action Month means to them. Words are allowed (e.g. quotes, etc). This competition is open to all ages (minors must have permission from their parents) and artistic talent. Whether student or amateur, all are welcome to enter an appropriate design of what represents Hunger Action Month to them!
The Grand Prize winner will receive a $100 Walmart gift card, free t-shirt of their design, and two free passes to the Taste of Texarkana.
Entries must be received by 5 pm on Friday, June 30. Submissions should be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or mailed to Harvest Regional Food Bank (P.O. BOX 707 Texarkana, TX 75504).
