DURING TAMU-T REGIONAL HISTORY DAY COMPETITION
Texarkana, TX – During the Texas A&M University – Texarkana 2nd Annual Regional History Day Competition on February 23, twenty-six students from Texas Middle School took top honors for their respective work.
1st Place: “Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps” – Lauren Allred, Jalyn Golette, Madison Kennemore, Valeria Perez, Vanessa Perez;
1st Place: “The Salem Witch Trials” – Emma Allen, Ryan Hampton, AbbeyRose Kuhl, Madelyn Snow, Rhyann Wilson;
2nd Place: “Operation Barbarossa” – Will Anderson, Dane Bullock, Sebastian Nichols;
1st Place: “Wilma Rudoph and How She Overcame Her Struggles” – Alexsia Edwards, Ashlyn Foster, BobbiChrystena Hatchett;
2nd Place: “The Mexican American War” – Kai Boyce, Efren Cardenas-Gonzalez, Mathew Windes;
