Studio Tours offer Unique Look Into Artists’ Process
Studio Tours will be a highlight of this year’s festival being held Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th, where curious art lovers can go visit the personal studios of participating artists. This is a hands-on, eye-opening experience for visitors to interact one-on-one with artists and see them in their creative environments. The studios will be open from 10-5 each day.
The 22 participating studios are spread across Garland County, so Studio Tours is a drive yourself tour of working artists where you may spend as much time as you like at each location. Artists not only show their art, but also reveal the intimate spaces where they create and work. It’s a great opportunity for patrons to interact one on one and see the art making process.
Expect to see drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, fabric, metal, and wood along with other media being created.
A map and listing of participating studios and more information about Arts & The Park can be found at hotspringsarts.org.
Studio Tours is part of Arts & The Park, a ten-day celebration of the arts in Hot Springs National Park, AR, that includes over 60 events planned during its annual art festival from April 27- May 6. Arts & The Park is made possible thanks to community support by presenting sponsor Mountain Valley Spring Water, Hot Springs Village, Visit Hot Springs, Department of Arkansas Heritage, Arvest. Hot Springs Community Foundation, and the Morris Foundation
